Key Responsibilities

  • •Utilize scientific principles and existing technologies to develop solutions for technical problems with limited scope.
  • •Prepare technical work plans and reports, and ensure compliance by interpreting and recording data and comparing findings to relevant regulations.
  • •Plan, execute, analyze, and report environmental measures in natural systems, including studying contaminants and how to restore the environment.
  • •Apply standard field practices and techniques to collect samples (soil, soil vapor, groundwater, surface water, sediment), prepare samples for shipping, and complete chain-of-custody paperwork.
  • •Coordinate with task and project managers and support sampling, data collection, field documentation, and technical expertise support.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in civil, chemical, mechanical, or environmental engineering (or related) and 6 years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency.
  • •U.S. Citizenship is required due to the nature of the work.
  • •Valid U.S. Driver's License, subject to a Motor vehicle records check.
  • •Successful candidate will have to pass a background check.
  • •OSHA 40 Hour HAZWOPER Certification, or ability to obtain one within 6 months of hire.
