Key Responsibilities

•Support children and teaching staff with a proven track record of inclusive support.
•Plan and deliver interventions according to individual needs, with emphasis on phonics and supporting English Language Learners (ELL).
•Engage clearly with teachers, pupils, and parents; communicate positively to build partnerships.
•Apply behavior management using positive reinforcement and support classroom dynamics.
•Assist with lesson planning and preparing materials; lead group activities and provide one-on-one support, including for SEND students.

Key Requirements

•Minimum A-Levels or higher (degree/certificate must be attested).
•A self-aware, reflective, collaborative and proactive practitioner.
•Ability to support children with an inclusive approach and maintain high expectations.
•Strong communication skills and organisational skills, including a positive approach when communicating with parents.
•Experience or aptitude supporting students of varying abilities, ages, and special educational needs (SEND); previous teaching assistant experience in a similar age group preferred.
