Job Summary

Own customer accounts in the Houston territory as the primary liaison between customers and the company. Build strong relationships, generate sales proposals, lead price negotiations, and promote cement and cementitious products. Monitor market trends and competitive activity, develop annual business plans, provide monthly sales forecasts, and deliver first-line technical input to customers. Manage billing accuracy, payment discrepancies, DSO, rebates, and commercial margins while ensuring OH&S alignment.

Key Responsibilities

•Develop and maintain customer relationships to drive loyalty, brand reputation, and account growth.
•Maintain knowledge of market volumes, trends, competitive activity, and key economic drivers for the territory.
•Create annual business plans for the territory and accounts, including pricing objectives, technical support, distribution optimization, new products, and receivables management.
•Manage customer accounts by ensuring accurate daily billing, handling payment discrepancies, DSO, and rebates.
•Lead price negotiations and provide monthly sales forecasts; deliver first-line technical input (testing, specification interpretation, troubleshooting) as needed.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in business management, sales, purchasing, or a related field (minimum 4 years).
•At least 5 years of experience as a sales representative or similar role.
•Proficient English written, verbal communication, and listening skills; able to read, write, and understand English.
•Ability to exercise sound judgment while analyzing facts and arriving at conclusions.
•Ability to drive incident management and explore/understand customer requirements for responsive service.
