Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead the development, design, and implementation of tax planning initiatives and transactions to drive AMD’s global tax strategy.
  • •Partner closely with cross-functional teams across AMD to ensure successful implementation of strategic transactions and tax planning initiatives.
  • •Lead tax due diligence for M&A deals and the development of tax acquisition and integration plans working with cross-functional teams.
  • •Assist with the management of tax audits, including research of technical issues, responding to inquiries from tax authorities, and development of audit strategy.
  • •Perform technical research and analysis of US and foreign tax laws and regulations to determine impact to the company’s tax strategy and legal entity structure

Key Requirements

  • •J.D. required with LL.M (Taxation) or graduate degree in accounting, tax, or a related field preferred.
  • •Strong experience with US Federal tax, Subchapter C, US international tax, and intercompany reorganizations and restructurings.
  • •Demonstrated experience leading or supporting M&A tax due diligence and acquisition structuring.
  • •Excellent analytical and communication skills; ability to work effectively on cross-functional teams and manage multiple projects with competing priorities.
  • •Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and work in a fast-paced environment.
