Key Responsibilities

  • •Own end-to-end cloud infrastructure strategy across global footprint, including architecture, resourcing, maintenance, capacity planning, and vendor strategy.
  • •Drive continuous cost-optimization programs (rightsizing, reserved/committed spend, tagging/chargeback discipline) while protecting reliability and performance.
  • •Act as a technical touchpoint for executives, translating infrastructure tradeoffs into business terms and influencing CTO/CFO budget and planning decisions.
  • •Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing infrastructure/platform/SRE team, including performance reviews, coaching, and setting expectations.
  • •Own infrastructure risk and resilience end-to-end, covering security posture, disaster recovery, compliance (including GDPR/EU regulatory considerations), and incident management.

Key Requirements

  • •8+ years of infrastructure/platform engineering experience, including 4+ years leading infrastructure strategy and budget in distributed systems environments.
  • •Deep hands-on experience with at least one major public cloud (AWS, GCP, or Azure), including infrastructure-as-code (Terraform/Pulumi or similar) and networking fundamentals.
  • •Experience with containerized environments using Kubernetes and cloud-native technologies.
  • •Proven ability to design scalable, high-performance, event-driven infrastructure and build high-availability, fault-tolerant platforms.
  • •People management experience coaching and growing managers and engineers, plus experience or strong interest in cloud-native security (CNAPP) or FinOps as a plus.
