Key Responsibilities

  • •Undertake structural design and review for wastewater and water infrastructure treatment projects, from concept through construction.
  • •Collaborate with clients and AECOM counterparts to ensure stakeholder buy-in and strengthen the team’s technical capability.
  • •Produce and review deliverables including calculations, drawings, and technical reports to relevant standards.
  • •Deliver agreed budget, programme, and quality, and support preparation of project budgets and programmes.
  • •Delegate tasks and act as a technical mentor to more junior staff.

Key Requirements

  • •Civil or Structural Engineering degree (or equivalent qualification).
  • •Structural analysis and design experience, particularly with reinforced concrete and steelwork structures.
  • •Experience delivering work in a digital environment using BIM and 3D design tools.
  • •Professional membership and/or working towards membership of a relevant institution (ICE or IStructE).
