Join SpaceX's Starlink Automation & Controls team as an Industrial Controls Technician, responsible for designing, building, installing, and commissioning electromechanical production systems. You will develop and deploy new automation solutions for production lines, read and redline system schematics, build control panels to NFPA 79 and UL 508A, and collaborate with engineering to enable reliable space-grade manufacturing.

Key Responsibilities

•Integrate and commission electromechanical production systems and collaborate with engineering to deliver solutions
•Develop, build, and execute new automation solutions for production lines and improve existing automated assets
•Read, understand, utilize, and redline system-level schematics (mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic)
•Build industrial control panels to NFPA 79 & UL 508A standards
•Design, implement, and commission PLC and HMI software applications

Key Requirements

•High school diploma or equivalency certificate
•2+ years of automation experience in a manufacturing and production environment
•2+ years of experience working with mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, or hydraulic systems
•Demonstrated hands-on fault finding and mechanical system troubleshooting
•Strong knowledge of NFPA 70/70E/79 and UL508A codes (preferred)
