Key Responsibilities

  • •Create the electrical I&C requirement baseline by capturing regulatory, functional, performance, safety, and CONOPS requirements and decomposing them with measurable acceptance criteria.
  • •Own and maintain hardware/software interface control documents (ICDs) covering signals, timing, protocols, power/grounding, and failure/default states across systems.
  • •Drive I&C Design FMEA to completion, compute risk priority numbers, and lead test planning to burn down high-RPN failure modes to closure.
  • •Define design validation and qualification plans, specifying test setups/cases/instrumentation and supporting execution on bench and in testbed.
  • •Support the licensing case by producing and defending I&C documentation while maintaining requirements traceability from regulation to test results.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, or a related field.
  • •7+ years in electrical or I&C systems engineering with ownership of a requirement baseline through verification.
  • •Experience writing decomposed, verifiable requirements with measurable acceptance criteria.
  • •Experience leading FMEA (or equivalent structured reliability analysis) and converting results into a test and mitigation plan.
  • •Experience authoring validation/qualification plans and working directly with a test organization to execute them.
