Job Summary

Lead and expert-level engineer for Materials & Coatings in oil and gas, solving complex metallurgy challenges, guiding project teams, and ensuring design analyses and material selections meet project requirements with strong coordination across disciplines.

Key Responsibilities

•Perform conceptual, FEED, and detailed analyses and design as per design basis, project specifications, design codes, and standards.
•Lead metallurgy engineering design of the assigned work area and ensure completion within the planned schedule and budget, in accordance with standards and project procedures.
•Plan, organize, and direct all aspects of metallurgy execution on the project including scope, deliverables, schedule, and manpower resources.
•Interface with other departments to obtain input for discipline designs and drawings and coordinate with the Project Management Team.
•Develop material selection deliverables such as specifications and material selection reports, and contribute to RBI studies.

Key Requirements

•15-20 years of experience in oil and gas with a major contractor or consultant predominantly performing detail design.
•Bachelor’s Degree or Master’s Degree in Engineering.
•Detailed knowledge of design techniques and analysis methods and detailed knowledge of the theory, content, and application of standards, codes, and guidelines as applicable.
•Knowledgeable in project coordination and execution skills.
•Be or become a subject matter expert on one or more typical metallurgy subjects.
