Key Responsibilities

  • •Develop and lead a high-performing shift team, including individual skill development and administering discipline when appropriate.
  • •Coordinate with unit specialists, process engineers, and managers to meet unit business and site objectives.
  • •Maintain knowledge of unit procedures, equipment, and personnel to support operations, safety, environmental, maintenance, and quality performance.
  • •Interface with maintenance personnel on execution and outages, and with project engineering/construction personnel to manage area projects.
  • •Investigate issues, initiate corrective actions, troubleshoot problems, and take appropriate action during health, safety, or environmental incidents.

Key Requirements

  • •High School Diploma (or equivalent).
  • •Minimum of 5 years’ chemical plant operations experience.
  • •Experience working in a polypropylene or catalloy plant is preferred.
  • •Familiarity with DCS operating systems is preferred.
  • •Step-up Supervisor or similar supervisory leadership is preferred.
