Key Responsibilities

  • •Architect and operate an end-to-end security engineering stack protecting devices, research infrastructure, and GPU training capacity.
  • •Design and manage resilient end-user compute across Linux, macOS, Windows, and GPU workstations, shifting from MDM toward posture verification and cryptographic device binding.
  • •Implement zero-trust access and phishing-resistant authentication using mesh networks/proxies (e.g., Tailscale, Cloudflare One) and hardware-backed authentication (WebAuthn/FIDO2).
  • •Deliver security-as-code and security guardrails using Terraform/Pulumi with CI/CD validation and continuous compliance checks.
  • •Build telemetry and detection pipelines to support behavioral detection engineering, and lead compliance/audit support plus vendor risk and contract negotiations.

Key Requirements

  • •7+ years of deep engineering experience in high-valuation companies or defense-grade environments.
  • •Technical leadership experience building and operating security engineering functions at scale.
  • •Experience supporting SOC 2, ISO 27001, FedRAMP, ISO 22237, ISO 22301, NIST CSF, and customer audits.
  • •Experience leading vendor risk, procurement security reviews, and security-related legal contract negotiations.
