Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide financial, credit, and trend analysis for credit products and services for middle-market and other business clients and prospects.
  • •Independently evaluate and structure lower complexity credit requests, including asset-based lending, term loans, and commercial real estate loans.
  • •Perform independent credit analysis and risk assessment for new and existing credit requests, including analysis of financial statements and third-party reports such as property appraisals.
  • •Monitor assigned credit relationships for covenant compliance, collateral monitoring, and credit deterioration; identify and track risk rating changes.
  • •Recommend credit actions by preparing the Credit Approval Report and work with the Loan Administration team to gather due diligence information needed for underwriting and monitoring.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, economics, or related field and/or 3 years of related work experience, with formal credit training preferred.
  • •Intermediate/Financial Accounting 1 and 2 knowledge.
  • •Understanding of lending, including cash flow and collateral analysis and loan structuring.
  • •Knowledge of compliance with state and federal regulations including Regulation Z, Regulation B, FHA, HMDA, RESPA, FCRA, BSA/USA PATRIOT Act, AML, CIP, RFPA, and CRA.
  • •Working knowledge of the bank’s loan policies and strong skills using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) plus terminal/computer operation.
