Key Responsibilities

•System Integration & Architecture: Design and implement robust solutions bridging Android apps, inter-CPU communication, RTOS ecosystems, and core L2/L3 payment kernels.
•Feature Innovation: Develop and scale advanced features for hardware fleet, including dynamic currency conversion, offline transactions, mobile wallets, and contactless networks (Apple Pay, Google Pay).
•Kernel & Scheme Ownership: Own Level 2 and Level 3 payment kernels across international payment schemes.
•Global Compliance & Testing: Work with product management and global certification bodies to guide devices through international audits.
•Triage & System Reliability: Debug and resolve complex integration issues, application bugs, and bottlenecks across diverse device types.

Key Requirements

•7+ years of professional software delivery and systems engineering experience in Agile teams
•3+ years of hands-on experience building, configuring, or supporting EMV L2/L3 payment kernels
•Strong Android platform architecture experience with system design patterns and internal frameworks
•Proficiency in at least two core AOSP languages (Java, C, C++, or Kotlin)
•Experience building native Android apps using Kotlin with attention to UI performance and dynamic screen adaptation
