Key Responsibilities

  • •Develop an in-depth understanding of the customer’s Tableau environment, stakeholders, and reporting/analytical needs.
  • •Provide best-practice guidance and recommendations to optimize Tableau ecosystem health and performance.
  • •Troubleshoot and debug issues to reproduce problems, resolve them, and determine root cause.
  • •Act as the primary point of contact for the account by coordinating with Product Management, Sales, Technical Support, and Engineering.
  • •Create customer roadmaps with quarterly reporting/deployment reviews and provide tailored release recommendations; lead workshops to establish or expand Tableau usage.

Key Requirements

  • •10+ years supporting and troubleshooting commercial end user software applications.
  • •Experience supporting enterprise, mission-critical applications, including relational databases and enterprise data warehouse/OLAP concepts.
  • •10+ years working with cloud, databases, SQL, and Windows Server (Linux experience preferred).
  • •Strong understanding of networking and server setup/administration, including troubleshooting internet architectures, firewalls, proxy servers, reverse proxies, and web servers.
  • •Ability to communicate clearly with business and IT stakeholders (including CXO audiences) and explain technical issues to non-technical audiences.
