  • •Establish engineering standards, design patterns, and best practices across multiple teams and projects
  • •Lead high-impact initiatives, guiding architecture decisions and ensuring scalable, reliable distributed systems
  • •Collaborate with Senior Director and stakeholders to influence product strategy and engineering direction
  • •Mentor engineers, review architectures, and nurture a culture of technical excellence

Key Requirements

  • •10+ years of related professional experience. Specifically, full-stack experience building modern database-backed (SQL/NoSQL) web applications and experience with microservice development
  • •Proven Technical Leadership: Extensive experience operating as a principal or lead architect for a major product domain or engineering group. With the knowledge and hands-on experience driving all phases of the development lifecycle: planning, specing, execution, and measuring success, post-launch maintenance
  • •Distributed Systems Expertise: Deep knowledge of building high-throughput, low-latency distributed systems, microservices architecture, and cloud infrastructure. Experience working on highly complex projects with a focus on achieving sustainable results
  • •Influence Without Authority: Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a demonstrated ability to influence engineering direction and product strategy across multiple stakeholders. Working with cross-functional teams to bridge the gap between technical and non-technical groups
  • •Experience mentoring others, reviewing architectures, and establishing design patterns.
