Job Summary

Lead a multi-year transformation of the Legal function into a business-embedded strategic partner. Architect the target operating model, governance, and standardized workflows, while building legal operations infrastructure for spend, outside counsel, vendor and matter management. Drive Legal’s technology, digital, and AI roadmap with scalable automation and analytics to improve speed, quality, and cost. Implement KPI-based performance management and serve as a trusted right hand to the General Counsel.

Key Responsibilities

•Shape and execute a multi-year legal transformation roadmap aligned to enterprise priorities, translating insights into a target-state operating model.
•Design and implement a global legal operating model with clear decision rights, accountability, and collaboration with business partners.
•Standardize and optimize core legal processes (intake, contracting, litigation management, compliance workflows) and establish governance and operating cadence.
•Build and oversee legal operations infrastructure including financial management, outside counsel strategy and panel management, vendor management, and matter management/data architecture.
•Define and execute the legal technology and AI roadmap, deploy scalable automation/workflows/self-service tools, and implement KPI-driven performance management.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 219,400 - 340,100 annually

Key Requirements

•12+ years of experience across legal operations, consulting, or senior transformation roles (law firm, corporate, or advisory).
•Proven track record leading enterprise-scale transformation, ideally within Legal or adjacent functions (Finance, Operations, Procurement).
•Deep experience building or scaling legal operations capability, including spend management, outside counsel optimization, and technology platforms.
•Bachelor’s degree required; Juris Doctor (JD) not required.
•Excellent leadership, communication, and project management skills, with a data-driven mindset.
