Key Responsibilities

  • •Maintain inside-plant cable infrastructure components (conduit, cable trays, copper, coax, fiber) across Pentagon, Mark Center, and NCR buildings
  • •Create engineering installation plans (EIPs) for cable rack installation, rack wiring, and installation testing
  • •Provide ISP Registered Communications Distribution Designer (RCDD) O&M support for 1800+ telecommunications rooms, including on-site surveys and weekly reports
  • •Develop maintenance plans and ensure EIA/TIA 568A & 568B standards are upheld
  • •Perform 24/7/365 break-fix for inside-plant cable infrastructure under JSP purview

Key Requirements

  • •9+ years developing layout and design for technology systems (voice, data, and structured cabling)
  • •Knowledge of BICSI rules/standards and NEC/IEEE/EIA/TIA codes; experience producing cutsheets/floorplans with Microsoft Excel and Vizio
