Key Responsibilities

  • •Develop and maintain compliance with applicable OSHA, NFPA, NIOSH, and other regulatory guidelines
  • •Collaborate on job hazard assessments and implement health and safety policies and procedures
  • •Monitor employee exposure to physical and chemical hazards and understand/implement machine guarding where needed
  • •Inspect facilities, machinery, and safety equipment to identify and correct hazards and ensure regulatory compliance
  • •Investigate industrial accidents, injuries, or occupational diseases to determine root causes and preventive corrective actions

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree
  • •5+ years of experience in environmental, health, and safety disciplines or a relevant engineering field with design/development and operational oversight
  • •Experience in both environmental and safety fields
  • •Strong knowledge of interpreting, applying, and documenting federal, state, and local safety and environmental regulations
  • •Familiarity with machine guarding and industrial hygiene programs
