Key Responsibilities

  • •Database Administration (PostgreSQL and MySQL) across AWS and on-prem environments, including provisioning, configuration, monitoring, backups, and security.
  • •Design, implement, and manage database infrastructure using Terraform and automate deployments with Ansible.
  • •Linux system administration, including security hardening and performance tuning of database hosts.
  • •Design and test auto or manual failover, DNS management, and load balancing for high availability.
  • •Develop and maintain documentation, participate in on-call rotations, and collaborate with development, operations, and data science teams.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • •Significant experience as a Database Administrator with a strong focus on PostgreSQL and MySQL.
  • •Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform.
  • •Proven experience with configuration management tools, preferably Ansible.
  • •Strong scripting skills (e.g., Bash, Python) and familiarity with CI/CD pipelines.
