Key Responsibilities

  • •Develop, maintain, and enhance quantitative European natural gas and LNG supply-demand models with high predictive accuracy.
  • •Analyse European energy flows to identify emerging trade trends, structural shifts, and fundamental drivers.
  • •Produce market research articles, reports, and expert commentary connecting European developments to global LNG implications.
  • •Deliver insights to clients, prospective customers, and media, presenting key findings at industry events and conferences.
  • •Automate data pipelines to automate data collection, refine model inputs, and streamline analytical workflows.

Key Requirements

  • •5+ years of natural gas or LNG market analysis experience, including at least 3 years focused on European gas markets.
  • •Advanced Excel dataset analysis skills, plus hands-on coding experience using SQL, Python, or VBA to build models and automate workflows.
  • •Experience building, maintaining, and justifying quantitative market models and fundamental forecasts.
  • •Strong written communication and presentation skills, including delivering data-backed views to internal and external stakeholders.
  • •Bachelor’s degree in Econometrics, Data Science, Economics, or a related quantitative discipline.
