Key Responsibilities

  • •Develop, implement, and continuously improve the site’s EHS management system and programs, driving them to scale as the site grows.
  • •Serve as the primary EHS interface with site leadership, employees, customers, auditors, and regulators to ensure compliance.
  • •Lead incident and near-miss investigations, including root cause analysis, and drive corrective and preventive actions to closure.
  • •Establish and run the cadence of routine EHS inspections, documenting conditions and driving findings to closure.
  • •Own the site EHS risk profile via risk assessments and job hazard analyses, and ensure hazardous waste management and generator obligations are met.

Salary: USD 111,000 - 147,000 annually

Key Requirements

  • •7+ years implementing and overseeing environmental, health, and safety programs as a senior/lead EHS professional for a site or program.
  • •Deep working knowledge of 29 CFR 1910 General Industry.
  • •Working knowledge of 40 CFR Parts 260–279 Hazardous Waste Management, with familiarity with EPA and state environmental regulations.
  • •Hands-on experience with inspections, incident/near-miss investigations and root cause analysis, corrective action tracking, risk assessments/JHAs, hazardous waste characterization, and compliance recordkeeping.
  • •Ability to own programs and provide technical direction/mentorship through influence, with strong written and verbal communication skills.
