On-site mobile diesel technician for Cox Fleet, performing DOT inspections, preventative maintenance, and complex repairs on trailers and equipment. Key Responsibilities

•Follow safety practices and procedures in all jobs; maintain compliance with organizational safety standards
•Independently manage parts inventory and operate the company-issued service truck, including safety checks and pre-/post-trip inspections
•Document work per company standards and upload photos of work performed, parts used, and findings on Repair Orders using the TRAIT application; complete DOT forms in a timely fashion
•Communicate effectively with clients to assess needs, provide information, and resolve issues; manage multiple tasks and timelines
•Maintain high productivity and meet standard repair times while adhering to DOT/EPA/DOT regulations and safety training requirements

Salary: USD 26.73 - 40.1 hourly

Key Requirements

•HS diploma or GED with 5 years of related field experience (or alternative combinations of education/certification with related experience)
•Possess and supply a set of hand tools necessary to perform required job duties
•Obtain ASE T8 (PMI) certification within 18 months
•Obtain ASE 608/609 certification within 18 months
•Must pass DOT-regulated pre-employment background screening and DOT physical; valid DOT medical card or equivalent as needed
