Key Responsibilities

  • •Serve as the primary Router SME for strategic mission objectives and daily TPS engineering operations.
  • •Build, apply, test, and troubleshoot site-specific configurations for enterprise routers, ingest routers, and Cradlepoint edge devices.
  • •Rapidly respond to and resolve CASREPs and act as an escalation tier to engineer permanent fixes.
  • •Develop, evaluate, and validate network architecture plans and engineering design packages for remote, austere, and tactical environments.
  • •Travel up to 25% (TDY) to conduct field engineering assessments and hardware integrations, coordinating with logistics for full lifecycle asset rollouts.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 135,000 - 175,000 annually

Key Requirements

  • •High School with 10+ years (or commensurate experience).
  • •Must have an active Secret clearance.
  • •Certifications: DoD 8570 IAT Level II or higher (e.g., Security+ CE, CySA+).
  • •Proven experience as a Router SME / Senior Network Engineer on large-scale federal IT or tactical network programs.
  • •Hands-on experience designing, planning, configuring, and documenting complex network architecture plans using Cisco enterprise routers and Cradlepoint solutions.
