Build data-driven applications for reservoir management software as a Subject Matter Expert Software Engineer within the Landmark Reservoir Centre of Excellence. Use reservoir engineering or geoscience expertise and strong software development skills to support ensemble technology deployment and growth. Collaborate with clients to develop new applications, solve real-world problems, and enhance the portfolio across ensemble modeling and simulation domains in a Lean/Agile environment.

Key Responsibilities

•Develop data-driven applications for reservoir management software solutions within the domain application software engineering team.
•Support deployment and growth of ensemble technology and strengthen customer use for better asset decision making.
•Collaborate with new and existing clients to build new applications and solve specific real-world problems.
•Enhance and expand the portfolio of applications and create innovative solutions for ensemble modeling and simulation domains.
•Own assignments end to end, communicate clearly on delivery status, and treat code reviews as a quality tool.

Key Requirements

•Strong Python skills.
•MSc. in reservoir engineering, petroleum engineering, or geosciences.
•Good understanding of geological processes and reservoir engineering principles for hydrocarbon reservoirs’ static/dynamic behavior.
•Good understanding of the full reservoir modelling workflow, including uncertainty, with experience using geomodelling tools and commercial flow simulators.
•Working knowledge of Git and a strong software engineering background; knowledge of C#, F#, or JavaScript is a plus.
