Job Summary

Support new design and modifications of aircraft structures and systems, creating timely, quality design solutions for metallic and non-metallic parts and system installations (electrical, hydraulic, fuel). Review and interpret aircraft design data, create/modify technical design documents and datasets using Airbus computer-based tools, and collaborate closely with static stress and fatigue teams to develop optimal solutions. Work onsite primarily at the Wichita engineering office and coordinate with customers and suppliers.

•Review and interpret design data to produce quality design solutions.
•Create or modify technical documents and design datasets using Airbus computer-based applications.
•Collaborate with static stress, F&D T, and other Airbus departments to develop optimal design solutions.
•Support interfaces with customers and suppliers and assist with project planning activities to meet customer requirements.

Key Requirements

•Must be currently local to the Wichita, KS metropolitan area.
•BS Degree in Engineering (Aero, Civil, Mechanical, Electrical) with emphasis on structural design/analysis and/or system design.
•0 to 6 years total design experience in airframe structures and/or system installation projects.
•Authorized to work in the US without current, or future, need of visa sponsorship.
•Strong computer skills with MS Office and Google Suite experience.
