Key Responsibilities

  • •Manage assigned Supplier Quality Engineering staff to complete work on time and ensure supplier issues are corrected at root cause.
  • •Conduct yearly performance reviews, set goals aligned with management direction, and support employee career development and mentoring.
  • •Provide daily support for purchasing and incoming inspection issues, including investigations into end-of-life parts, brokered part qualification, and supplier defects with corrective actions.
  • •Manage suppliers using supplier performance data, communicate performance with suppliers, drive delivered-quality improvements, validate supplier proposed changes, and complete improvement audits as needed.
  • •Execute SQE strategy and deploy compliant processes and records for company and FDA requirements, identify SQE process improvement opportunities, and report supplier quality function status to management.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 120,000 - 145,000 annually

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor's Degree in engineering or other technical discipline, or 10+ years’ experience as a Supplier Quality Engineer with supervisory experience.
  • •7+ years’ experience in Supplier Quality Engineering, including demonstrated improvement of supplier quality and strong auditing background.
  • •5+ years managerial experience in technical management.
  • •Preferred ASQ certifications including CMQ/OE, CQA, and CQE.
  • •Knowledge of manufacturing processes and experience supporting supplier certification/quality issues.
