Key Responsibilities

  • •Work safely and efficiently while maintaining a clean and orderly vehicle and work area.
  • •Operate a ready-mix concrete truck to deliver and unload concrete safely at job sites per applicable laws and dispatch instructions.
  • •Maintain communication with the dispatcher/plant supervisor and check delivery tickets for special instructions.
  • •Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections and report maintenance or repair issues.
  • •Handle loading/unloading tasks (including ladder climbing and chute handling), add admixtures when needed, and collect/record customer payments and ticket details.

Key Requirements

  • •Must possess a valid minimum Class B CDL (or complete training and pass the CDL exam to obtain licensure).
  • •Required to acquire and maintain a valid DOT medical card and state issued commercial driver license.
  • •Follow OSHA and USDOT/FMCSA safe-operating practices and use supplied PPE as directed.
  • •Operate the ready-mix truck to deliver and unload concrete according to dispatch instructions and complete delivery tickets.
  • •Frequently climb ladders and handle up to 50 pounds (e.g., mixer chutes), while meeting the physical demands of the role.
