Job Summary

Join the MPD team to design FPGA-backed digital hardware for missiles, radars, and electronic warfare systems. You will develop circuit card architectures, design and verify digital electronics with embedded processors and high-speed interfaces, collaborate with senior engineers through SI/PI, layout, and routing, and support integration, verification, and troubleshooting across the product lifecycle in an onsite McKinney, TX environment.

Key Responsibilities

•Assist with architecture development at the circuit card level.
•Design, analyze, test, and document digital electronics circuit card assemblies including embedded processors, FPGAs, memories, and industry standard interfaces such as PCIe, Ethernet, I2C, SPI, and UART.
•Partner with senior engineers and ECAD drafters through stack up definition, pre/post-route simulation (SI/PI), layout, and routing activities.
•Support integration and verification activities in engineering laboratories.
•Provide product test and troubleshooting support.

Key Requirements

•Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 2 years of prior relevant experience.
•Design, analysis, simulation, and/or test experience with digital electronic circuit designs including processors, FPGAs, high-speed transceivers, DDR, and flash memories.
•Experience with a schematic capture/circuit board layout CAD package.
•Experience working with standard lab equipment for integration and verification testing of hardware designs.
•One or more advanced degrees in Electrical Engineering or a related STEM major.
