Key Responsibilities

  • •Design, develop, and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines using dbt, Databricks, Spark SQL, and Airflow.
  • •Implement automated data quality checks, monitoring, and alerting; troubleshoot pipeline failures with root-cause fixes.
  • •Write performant, maintainable SQL for large-scale transformations and collaborate on schema design with central Data Engineering teams.
  • •Build and maintain executive-level BI dashboards and conduct deep-dive analyses to answer ambiguous business questions.
  • •Own critical business reporting (WBRs, QBRs, forecasting), document models/methodologies, and mentor junior analysts and engineers.

Key Requirements

  • •6+ years of experience in BI Analytics, Data Engineering, or Analytics Engineering in a fast-paced B2C, subscription, or growth-oriented business
  • •Advanced SQL proficiency and hands-on ETL/ELT pipeline experience at scale, including performance tuning and troubleshooting
  • •Hands-on modern data stack tools including dbt, Databricks, Spark SQL, and Airflow (or similar orchestration/transformation tools)
  • •Strong data modeling skills, including dimensional modeling and designing scalable star-schema models
  • •Proven ability to build executive BI dashboards (e.g., Tableau, Databricks, Looker) and influence cross-functional partners with stakeholder management
