Job Summary

Support customers at their sites as a Senior Audio Visual Field Service Technician, partnering with the Global Helpdesk to restore functionality and deliver world-class service. Handle preventative maintenance, AV equipment cleaning, and job documentation, and perform field installations and troubleshooting for control programs and networked devices. Read schematics/blueprints, provide end-user training, and set up/troubleshoot video codecs and teleconferencing hardware while traveling to client locations.

Key Responsibilities

•Partner with the Global Helpdesk to provide AV service support at customer sites to restore functionality.
•Perform preventative maintenance and clean AV equipment, while completing accurate job documentation.
•Install and support control programs (AMX/Crestron/Firmware), including upload/download and minor edits.
•Troubleshoot service issues for networked devices and perform service tasks such as pulling cable and mounting projectors.
•Set up and troubleshoot video codecs and video teleconferencing hardware; provide end-user client training as needed.

Travel: Medium travel

Key Requirements

•3–5 years of audiovisual integration experience (preferred).
•Ability to read and interpret electronic schematics and architectural blueprints.
•Programming capability for AV control (Crestron) including changes and troubleshooting.
•Knowledge of basic signal flow for audio, video, and control, and experience with networked devices troubleshooting.
•Valid driver’s license with a clean Driver’s Abstract that meets AVI-SPL driving standards.
