Key Requirements

  • •B.S. in polymer engineering, material science, or a related field.
  • •10+ years of experience supporting vehicle systems across materials, engineering design, tooling, processes, and testing, including 5+ years leading material selection with accountability for strategy.
  • •Automotive development experience through complete product development from concept to launch.
  • •Strong knowledge of polymer materials and their use in automotive components (thermoplastics, elastomers, thermosets, adhesives, coated fabric/textiles, paint, composites) plus design rules for function, manufacturing, and cost optimization.
  • •Hands-on experience with plastic injection molding and experience with secondary processes (e.g., joining, painting, plating, press/vacuum lamination).
