Key Responsibilities

  • •Manage new and renewal Financial Lines business within delegated authority while maintaining portfolio profitability.
  • •Build and maintain broker, distributor, and customer relationships to support growth and retention.
  • •Identify and develop new business opportunities aligned with Zurich’s underwriting strategy.
  • •Provide technical underwriting expertise and guidance across Financial Lines products and coverage matters.
  • •Support underwriting capability through coaching, mentoring, and knowledge sharing, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives using data-driven decision making.

Key Requirements

  • •Demonstrated underwriting experience across Financial Lines products such as D&O, Professional Indemnity, Management Liability, and Cyber.
  • •Experience developing and managing broker and distribution partnerships.
  • •Proven ability to grow a portfolio and execute business strategies in a complex insurance environment.
  • •Strong commercial and financial acumen with understanding of portfolio performance.
  • •Experience coaching, mentoring, or developing less experienced underwriters, with strong knowledge of the Australian and New Zealand General Insurance market and regulatory environment.
