Key Responsibilities

  • •Act as the subject matter expert for the lifecycle of fixed assets, including initial recognition, capitalization vs expensing, depreciation models and impairment testing.
  • •Lead the accounting for the global lease portfolio, ensuring accurate Right-of-Use assets and lease liabilities and disclosures per IFRS.
  • •Oversee daily operations: additions, disposals, depreciation, and re-measurements.
  • •Act as the primary contact for CAPEX-related requests, bridging global standards with local needs.
  • •Oversee outsourced accounting provider, reviewing deliverables and mentoring the provider’s team to align with global standards.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting and Finance.
  • •4+ years of practical experience in a large-scale or international corporate environment with a focus on IFRS and preferably CAPEX.
  • •Solid understanding of IFRS, with hands-on experience in IAS 16 and IFRS 16; able to navigate complex lease contracts and determine accounting treatment for diverse global asset classes.
  • •Power user of MS Excel and Google Workspace; Dynamics 365 is a plus.
  • •Familiarity with tools that drive automation and leverage AI to optimize financial workflows; strong communication skills in English.
