Job Function: Field Service, Maintenance & Skilled Trades

Key Responsibilities

  • •Create, assign, and monitor work orders; track machine service intervals; order parts; diagnose issues using real-time equipment data.
  • •Practice safe job practices while repairing equipment and maintaining compliance with applicable requirements (OSHA preferred).
  • •Troubleshoot equipment failures in the shop and at customer locations; perform repairs and preventive maintenance when required.
  • •Set up and operate equipment at the shop and on customer sites, working individually or with other technicians as needed.
  • •Maintain complete daily paperwork/electronic documentation and assist with pick-up and delivery of equipment and parts; assist with training lower-level technicians as needed.

Key Requirements

  • •Must own tools applicable to the position and have advanced mechanical aptitude with a working knowledge of tools.
  • •Experience working on power generators and/or commercial HVAC equipment, including inspections, maintenance, and repairs.
  • •Experience calculating nominal/effective tonnage and/or kW requirements, and reading/knowing schematics.
  • •Superior customer service, teamwork, and verbal/written communication skills.
  • •Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record; must be at least 21 years old to operate a company vehicle. EPA 608 certification is preferred and OSHA knowledge is preferred.
