Work with customers to design and productionize data and AI solutions on the Databricks platform. Own architecture and lead end-to-end delivery across data engineering, ML/AI model integration, and application development—ensuring secure, scalable implementations. Collaborate across engineering, product, developer relations, and customer teams to scope work, embed with stakeholders, deliver measurable outcomes, and build reusable accelerators that scale across accounts.

•Lead production-grade customer technical projects, including reference architectures, custom applications, and data ingestion with ML/AI integration.
•Guide strategic customers on end-to-end design, build, and deployment of big data and AI applications.
•Own architecture and design decisions to ensure solutions are secure, scalable, and aligned with customer needs and Databricks best practices.
•Collaborate with Databricks engineering, project management, and customer teams to deliver engagement technical components.
•Embed with customer teams to understand challenges, deliver impact, and provide product/implementation feedback for rapid issue resolution.

Salary: USD 182,000 - 250,208 annually

Key Requirements

•6+ years of experience in data engineering, data platforms/analytics, or software engineering.
•Proficiency writing code in Python, Scala, and/or JavaScript/TypeScript with modern frameworks.
•Working knowledge of at least two cloud ecosystems (AWS, Azure, GCP), with expertise in one.
•Deep distributed computing experience with Apache Spark, including Spark runtime internals.
•Experience with MLOps and ML/AI models/AI APIs, including design and deployment of performant end-to-end data architectures and applications.
