Job Summary

Contribute to and mature an industry-best Credit Risk Management organization as part of the second-line (2LOD) oversight function. Help architect comprehensive risk management capabilities across SoFi’s lending products, including unsecured, secured, and commercial lending. Conduct credit/behavioral/financial analytics and predictive modeling, monitor credit performance metrics and trends, review KPI/KRIs, and communicate findings to leadership to strengthen risk culture and regulatory readiness.

•Provide analytical support for data-driven insight generation using Credit domain expertise.
•Generate insights, design analytics, and deliver visualizations to influence strategic decisions.
•Monitor operational performance, roll rates, delinquent inventory, and credit loss trends; optimize credit policies through diagnostic analyses.
•Help review KPI/KRIs to assess Credit Risk state and evaluate policy effectiveness and procedures.
•Conduct credit/behavioral/financial analytics or predictive modeling and translate results into recommendations for credit portfolios.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 115,200 - 216,000 annually

Key Requirements

•8+ years of Credit Risk Analytics experience with a bachelor’s degree in a quantitative discipline; a Master’s degree is preferred.
•Strong industry knowledge, including a sound understanding of regulations as they apply to lending.
•Proven analytical and data mining skills with excellent command of SQL, Python, R, or SAS.
•Ability to think critically using structured analytical reasoning to identify and solve problems.
•Excellent verbal, written, and presentation/storytelling skills to influence change based on analysis findings.
