Key Responsibilities

  • •Perform routine laboratory operations and analytical tests in a QA setting.
  • •Monitor production and products using sensory, weight control, and analytical methods to maintain specifications.
  • •Evaluate finished goods for moisture, ingredient content, breakage, color, package fill, weights, seal integrity, code date legibility, and overall quality.
  • •Execute and monitor SQF front-line Food Safety and Food Quality Plans for conformance and effectiveness.
  • •Identify out-of-compliance products, determine whether to place on hold, and coordinate disposition or rework with leadership approval.

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma or GED and/or 1-year production experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • •Perform routine quantitative and qualitative analytical tests following standard procedures.

  • •Accurately perform and document testing results for incoming, in-process, and finished products.
  • •Follow safety and hygiene guidelines, including safe handling of chemicals for testing and safe lifting instructions.
