Key Responsibilities

  • •Develop power management firmware: Design, implement, debug, and optimize firmware for battery charging systems, PMIC integration, power sequencing, and charging interfaces across multiple product categories.
  • •Contribute to the full power management stack: Develop low-power state handling, battery management, charger negotiation, and system-level power transitions.
  • •Engage across the full product lifecycle: Architecture discussions, hardware bring-up, NPI validation, manufacturing ramp, and post-launch sustaining; support firmware releases and field investigations.
  • •Hands-on hardware bring-up and debugging: Work with schematics, datasheets, and lab equipment to implement and debug board- and system-level power designs.
  • •Develop low-level drivers and platform ports: Device drivers for PMICs, chargers, and related subsystems; port firmware across MCU platforms and update mechanisms.

Key Requirements

  • •5+ years of firmware development experience with hands-on development in battery-powered consumer electronics or other high-volume embedded systems
  • •Significant experience integrating PMICs, battery chargers (switching or linear), fuel gauges, and protection circuits
  • •Strong understanding of charging algorithms, current/voltage regulation, thermal management, and safety mechanisms
  • •Expert-level C/C++ development in resource-constrained systems with deep understanding of MCU peripherals, interrupts, power domains, and RTOS-based systems
  • •Battery and low-power optimization experience: wake-up flows, power transitions to maximize battery life, battery qualification processes and development
