Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead and oversee independent validations of material cybersecurity models and AI-enabled security solutions, providing authoritative challenge to model owners and developers.
  • •Determine validation scope and depth using model materiality, cybersecurity impact, automation level, data sensitivity, adversarial exposure, and potential consequences of model failure.
  • •Assess conceptual soundness, implementation, performance, monitoring, change management, and governance, and recommend validation conclusions, risk ratings, and compensating controls.
  • •Evaluate detection risk and AI security risks including false positives/negatives, drift, uncertainty, adversarial manipulation, evasion, data poisoning, prompt injection, and insecure tool use.
  • •Own scalable validation methodologies, advise on cybersecurity model risk tiering, and present conclusions and thematic observations to senior governance stakeholders.

Key Requirements

  • •Extensive experience in Model Risk Management, independent model validation, quantitative review, or independent technical risk assessment, including leadership of complex or material reviews.
  • •Strong knowledge of cybersecurity risk and the use of analytics, machine learning, and AI in security decision-making and control environments.
  • •Demonstrated ability to evaluate model performance, data quality, uncertainty, drift, explainability, monitoring, resilience, and human oversight.
  • •Ability to exercise independent judgment, provide credible challenge, resolve complex technical issues, and make risk-based recommendations to senior stakeholders.
