Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide overall leadership for inspection center performance, including strategic planning and guidance aligned with Carvana culture.
  • •Lead production management: production planning, capacity to meet targets, and weekly performance review meetings.
  • •Identify and prioritize problems impacting performance, allocate resources, and ensure issue resolution.
  • •Oversee operating standards (standardized work, operating rules, 5S, and visual management) and ensure health and safety and loss prevention compliance.
  • •Manage people: participate in hiring, maintain leadership candidate pipelines, ensure training/certification, mentor reconditioning managers, and lead continuous improvement events.

Key Requirements

  • •Minimum of 8 years of management experience in automotive or a lean manufacturing environment leading multiple work groups.
  • •Proven track record leading and developing associates and delivering project deliverables and company metrics.
  • •Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and ability to drive resolution of issues impacting performance targets.
  • •Ability to work a flexible schedule and in a fast-paced production environment, including exposure to heat/cold.
  • •Valid unrestricted driver’s license with a clean driving record in the last 3 years (plus ability to read/write/speak/understand English).
