Job Summary

Develop and maintain facility EHS programs and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company initiatives. Monitor and communicate EHS performance and regulatory compliance metrics, prepare regulatory reports, and serve as the daily point of contact for EHS issues. Provide EHS education and training, mentor facility safety teams, conduct periodic inspections, and review safety/environmental aspects of management of change (MOC).

•Develop, implement, and maintain company EHS programs and facility-specific procedures to ensure regulatory and company compliance.
•Track, trend, and communicate EHS performance and regulatory compliance, monitoring key metrics and compiling regulatory reports.
•Act as daily point of contact for EHS issues and support site leadership and line/staff management with OSHA/EPA/DOT regulations and standards.
•Implement environmental, health, and safety education and training, mentoring facility safety teams.
•Conduct periodic inspections of plant machinery, equipment, and working conditions, and review management of change (MOC) from a safety/environmental perspective.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in a related field with 3+ years of EHS experience, or 5+ years of EHS experience without a degree.
•Experience with OSHA PSM or similarly structured safety management systems.
•Detailed knowledge of regulatory requirements and EHS policies, procedures, and programs, including life safety codes, HAZOP, and occupational safety and health principles.
•Strong project, problem-resolution, facilitation, training, and mentoring skills.
•Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills, with familiarity using computer systems such as Microsoft Office and Google Collaboration.
