Key Responsibilities

  • •Deliver comprehensive in-person and virtual consultations for older adults, including assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up.
  • •Develop individualized, evidence-based management plans, including medication optimization, preventive care, lifestyle interventions, and referrals when indicated.
  • •Manage complex geriatric conditions (multimorbidity, frailty, cognitive impairment, polypharmacy) and ensure continuity and coordination of care across both channels.
  • •Maintain compliant, accurate clinical documentation in the EHR and demonstrate proficiency with telemedicine platforms and digital health technologies.
  • •Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams, caregivers, and community services to provide integrated, patient-centered care and support patient safety and satisfaction.

Key Requirements

  • •Medical degree (MBBS, MD or equivalent) from an accredited medical school.
  • •Residency training in Family Medicine from an accredited program.
  • •Board certification in Family Medicine.
  • •Fellowship certification in Geriatric.
  • •Saudi Commission for Health Specialties (SCFHS) classification and registration as a Family Medicine–Geriatrics Consultant, with experience as a Family Medicine Geriatrics Consultant in a hospital/clinical setting.
