Key Responsibilities

  • •Ensure technology and competitive watch in the recycling & casting field.
  • •Organize internal and external benchmarking to identify and implement process improvements.
  • •Define and lead implementation of best practices, guidelines, standards, and reference practices.
  • •Provide guidance for process needs, including capex, and support refractory alternatives selection, testing, and deployment.
  • •Support casthouse energy deployment and roadmap, and build process KPIs and benchmarking systems.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in a related engineering field.
  • •Lead interfaces and efficient communication with internal and external partners; show active listening and build a sharing culture.
  • •Foster teamwork and apply entrepreneurship skills to manage and track process over time holistically.
  • •Strong technical knowledge of aluminum process and products, including furnace design, induction/gas-fired/reverberatory furnace operations, combustion and emission control, dross processing, and molten metal degassing and filtration.
  • •English proficiency; French is preferred.
