Job Summary

Lead the GPE PA Egypt team of 15+ engineers across control, safety, HMI, Batch, Cyber, and systems, driving engineering hours, billability, customer satisfaction, and serviceability while coordinating with global LOBs. Based in Cairo with 20% travel to Europe and other geographies, the role focuses on design, deployment, and continuous improvement of automation systems.

Key Responsibilities

•Share a vision and mission for the GPE PA Egypt team and drive engagement to deliver quality and schedule.
•Lead and manage 15+ engineers, coordinating with Global LOBs to maximize GPE PA content and productivity.
•Ensure adherence to HR processes (HPD, succession planning, performance differentiation) and enable effective communication across borders.
•Drive action plans and improvements, monitor metrics like engineering hours, billability, and customer satisfaction.
•Maintain day-to-day operations and ensure alignment with business requirements and Kaizen/Six Sigma initiatives.

Travel: Medium travel

Key Requirements

•Bachelor's degree in Engineering - Instrumentation and Control or equivalent
•Senior-level experience as an Advanced System Engineer / Advanced Field Services Engineer with hands-on capability
•Design, engineering, and deployment of control systems including PLCs, panels, instrumentation, TAS, and software configuration
•Strong customer interfacing, project management, and resource management skills
•Experience working in a large multinational, highly matrix environment and with operating systems/tools such as Six Sigma
