Job Summary

Support the Corporate Functions Data Governance team within GBS (GBS/GIDS), working as an individual contributor to enhance enterprise metadata, taxonomy, and governance practices. Collaborate with business stakeholders to develop and maintain the enterprise data catalog, monitor metadata quality, and partner with Data Owners and Business Data Stewards on metadata, data quality, lineage, and critical data element governance. Provide training using the metadata dictionary and taxonomy, and serve as a subject matter expert for Informatica (Enterprise) Metadata tooling.

•Partner with the Data Capability team to facilitate source system onboarding and scanning to support data governance activities via the data catalog and technical metadata.
•Monitor and manage metadata to ensure accuracy and consistency.
•Partner with Data Owners and Business Data Stewards for governance of metadata, data quality, data lineage, and critical data elements.
•Provide training and guidance using the metadata dictionary and taxonomy; maintain documentation and manage escalations related to metadata processes.

•Postgraduate degree; IT and finance-related certifications preferred; CDMP|DCAM is an added advantage.
