Key Responsibilities

•Support the AMER Sales team, leading negotiations for complex and strategic agreements.
•Advise on a wide range of commercial and legal issues, including launch of new products to Stripe users and support international expansions.
•Work closely with Product Legal to bring new products and features to market.
•Be an integral part of the build out of Stripe’s commercial legal infrastructure; draft and maintain Stripe’s agreements and playbooks, lead and contribute projects to improve internal processes, leverage AI tooling to optimize how we work and collaborate with clients, partners and users.
•Partner with teams across Stripe globally, including sales, operations, product, tax, risk groups, and others.

Key Requirements

•8+ years of relevant experience in-house or in a technology practice group in a top law firm.
•Qualified with good standing membership in at least one US state bar with a JD degree or foreign equivalent.
•Intellectually curious and a creative problem solver; relish learning new products and finding creative solutions to challenging problems.
•A self starter with a bias for action; proactive with a strong sense of ownership.
•Clear and concise communicator who can distill key risks and explain complex issues; collaborative with cross-functional teams.
