Key Responsibilities

  • •Deliver on-site refinery brownfield and sustaining capital projects by supporting project management across cost, schedule, technical conformance, HSSEA, quality, and engineering coordination.
  • •Coordinate multidisciplinary inputs to engineering deliverables, review discipline leads’ technical specifications/designs/drawings/documents, and ensure compliance with the Design Basis.
  • •Manage engineering manhour budget and schedule, maintain look-ahead engineering schedules/work lists, monitor progress/performance, and develop corrective action plans.
  • •Create multidiscipline procurement packages by coordinating with engineering and procurement, compiling/reviewing technical documentation, and supporting bid evaluation/clarifications.
  • •Support change management, risk identification, construction interface (technical clarity and RFIs), and progress reporting including escalation of potential delays/changes.

Key Requirements

  • •Registration as a P.Eng. with a minimum of 10 years of broad experience in Oil, Gas & Chemicals projects.
  • •Experience with engineering design progression, procurement package development, and scope/technical documentation writing.
  • •Knowledge of engineering quality management and applying engineering principles across multidisciplinary projects.
  • •Experience coordinating engineering deliverables, procurement activities, and project schedules.
  • •Authorization to lawfully work in Canada without sponsorship from Wood now or in the future.
