Key Responsibilities

  • •Forecast and communicate engineering, materials, and manufacturing requirements to suppliers; perform make-versus-buy analysis and use MRP to coordinate demand signals.
  • •Form and coordinate the Materials Core Team and coordinate product development deliverables through matrix management.
  • •Create, release, and update new project materials strategy under some supervision and execute commercialization materials plans.
  • •Assist sourcing activities including supplier selection, price and delivery negotiations, supplier risk assessment, and supplier performance monitoring.
  • •Manage materials change control, meet cost objectives, generate key process indicators, and resolve supplier quality issues with engineering and quality teams.
