Key Responsibilities

  • •Own, plan, and execute full system-level T&E of hardware and software, driving design maturation through test execution.
  • •Conduct shore and sea-based test activities, investigate initial issues, and lead root-cause/corrective action and process improvements.
  • •Guide field operations with test authority, task assignment, and event scheduling; implement and maintain end-to-end test documentation.
  • •Partner with program management and engineering leads to establish requirements, communicate test campaign schedules/progress, define test gates, and develop milestones based on results.
  • •Lead a team to conduct shore and sea-based testing at private and government-owned test ranges, including planning, execution, reporting, and initial data analysis.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related technical discipline, or equivalent engineering experience.
  • •4+ years of experience in systems engineering, integration, and testing.
  • •4+ years of experience as a lead test conductor/test director for developmental systems on manned and/or unmanned sea-craft, including requirements development, test planning, execution, and reporting.
  • •Ability to quickly learn new concepts, organize/schedule/coordinate work phases, and determine appropriate task/project approaches for complex problems.
  • •Strong computer and documentation skills, including experience with Linux/command line interfaces and software debugging.
