Key Responsibilities

  • •Perform inspections and diagnostic tests to determine vehicle condition and identify worn/damaged parts.
  • •Complete preventive maintenance schedules and install upgrades, including corrosion control and winterization procedures.
  • •Repair, overhaul, and replace vehicle assemblies and systems (e.g., powertrain, electrical, fuel/emissions, brakes, steering, hydraulics) and make adjustments/alignments.
  • •Verify vehicle performance via test drives and adjust controls and systems.
  • •Comply with vehicle testing requirements, maintain shop supplies/records, and keep equipment operating by troubleshooting and preventive maintenance.

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma/GED preferred.
  • •Truck maintenance experience and good mechanical and electrical troubleshooting abilities.
  • •CDL required or willingness to obtain within 6 months of hire.

  • •Ability to stand and work hands-on 8-11 hours per day and lift 50 lbs or more; ability to work in cool temperatures (~40°F).
